Service Opportunities in Hospitality Ministries &
Congregational Activities

We love our volunteers!
  • Whether you enjoy being with kids or working behind the scenes, - you will be a valued and important part of our ministry. We have many, many opportunities to suit various ages and gifts. If you have any questions about volunteering, email Jordan Gades or Pastor Hans Anderson or call 218-829-5147.

6.  Hotdish Ministry

  • Trinity has a Hotdish Ministry Team that will make a hotdish or meal for a Trinity family in need of a little “Lutheran Love”. This outreach ministry of Trinity was established to help fellow Trinity members when they have had set backs whether it is:
* You or a family member is in the hospital
* A family or an individual has recently lost a loved one
* A family has recently had a baby
* A spouse is in the Armed Forces and stationed “away from home”
* You or your spouse has recently lost their job
  • If you are on the Hotdish Ministry Team you will get a call to make and deliver a Hotdish periodically during a calendar year.

7.  Lenten “More Then Soup” Suppers

  • A light supper one hour prior to Wednesday evening Lenten worship services. Each week, a different team of volunteers plan, prepare, serve and clean-up.
  •  Instructions provided. Three hours on day of supper.

8.  Properties Support Team

  • Assist Trinity’s custodian as needed for special projects such as painting, fall & spring cleanup, semi-annual sanctuary floor maintenance and window cleaning.
  • As available

9.  Sundae Sunday

  • A pie and ice cream social is held on Rally Sunday to raise money for various Health Ministry Team activities, such as care baskets, prayer shawls, baby “cakes”, etc.
  •  Provide pies. Help setup and serve pies and ice cream.

10.  Trinity’s “Community of Caring”

  • An ongoing relationship ministry with homebound members.
  • It consists of one-hour long visit per month with the person or persons you choose.
