TRINITY CHILDREN & YOUTH

Sunday School

Children ages 3 through 5th grade can participate in Trinity's Sunday School program.

They are divided into classes by age or grade level. Upon their start of Trinity Sunday school children receive a "Cradle Roll Apple." In third grade students receive a Bible. Classes start in mid-September and run through May. Class time is 10:00–10:45 a.m. Fill out our enrollment form (REGISTER ONLINE above) or email our Director of Christian Education, Alicia Priglmeier.

First Communion Classes

Our 5th grade students take classes on Wednesday nights throughout the school year to prepare for partaking in the Lord's Supper. Students create a chalice and banner, as well as bake the bread they will eat at their First Communion. On the Maundy Thursday they join their families to have the Seder Meal. They are taught the importance and reverence of the Sacrament of Communion while having fun and fellowship with their classmates.

Confirmation Classes

After completing Sunday School and First Communion, Trinity youth begin confirmation classes in 6th grade. Wednesday nights throughout the school year, 6-8th grade students come together to dive deeper into the Catechism, talk in small groups, join in service projects, and have fun and fellowship. There are requirements throughout the years of confirmation including taking sermon notes, participating in services projects, acolyting and more. (In 9th grade they have a year of mentorship. In the Fall of their 10th grade year they are confirmed and give their statement of faith.)

Mentorship Year

In their 9th grade year, Trinity Youth get to connect with an adult mentor who helps guide them in their walk of faith. Meeting several times a year outside of Trinity, they are able to talk about spirituality and relate personal stories and experiences. When the student is in their 10th grade year they will be confirmed and give a statement of their faith.
